Italijanski Edison u izgradnji termoelektrane „Kolubara B“
(Beograd, 3. jun 2011) Italijanski Edison je 20. maja 2011. godine podneo ponudu da učestvuje u izgradnji termoelektrane „Kolubara B“ kao potencijalni strateški partner Elektroprivrede Srbije (EPS) u realizaciji ovog projekta.
Stručni timovi EPS-a su razmotrili i ocenili tehnički i finansijski deo ponude Edisona i EPS je doneo odluku da prihvati dostavljenu ponudu i nastavi aktivnosti na razvoju projekta.
U okviru svoje ponude, Edison nudi optimizaciju tehničkog rešenja ALSTOM-ovom opremom i izgradnju dva bloka snage od po 375 megavata (MW) bruto, sa neto efikasnošću od 37%, pri čemu oprema zadovoljava najstrože kriterijume zaštite životne sredine prema domaćoj i evropskoj regulativi. Tehnička ponuda ispunjava ono što je EPS tražio od strateškog partnera.
Za radove izvedene još od 1988. godine, kada je počela gradnja ove elektrane, i opremu koja je do sada ugrađena i nabavljena, a koje EPS treba da unese kao ulog u zajedničku kompaniju koja će graditi novu elektranu, EPS-u je ponuđen udeo u vlasništvu te nove kompanije od 36,4%.
Elektroprivreda Srbije u potpunosti razume interesovanje javnosti za sve aspekte ponude, ali zbog preuzetih obaveza iz Ugovora o poverljivosti podataka, kao i činjenice da tender još nije pravno-formalno završen, u ovom trenutku nije moguće saopštiti sve detalje.
Početak pregovora EPS-a i Edisona, ali i zajedničkog rada na studiji izvodljivosti, planiran je za kraj juna 2011. godine, sa ciljem da se do kraja godine usaglase svi stavovi oko daljeg razvoja projekta.

(Belgrade, June 3rd 2011) On May 20, 2011, the Italian company Edison submitted a proposal as potential strategic partner to PE Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS) for the construction and operation of the thermal power plant Kolubara B.
After review and evaluation of the technical and financial proposals by EPS expert teams, EPS decided to accept the submitted bid and to continue activities on the Project development. In its proposal Edison offered optimization of the technical solution with ALSTOM equipment and the construction of 2 units of 375 MW gross each with 37% net efficiency, whereas the equipment will fully comply with the strict domestic and European environmental regulations. The technical proposal complies with the requirements set by EPS.
For the works performed in 1988, when the construction of this power plant began, and for the equipment purchased and implemented up to now, which will represent EPS contribution in the joint company for the construction of the power plant, EPS was offered a 36.4% stake in the new company.
PE Elektroprivreda Srbije fully understands public interest in all aspects of this proposal, however due to commitments undertaken with the Confidentiality Agreement, and the fact that the tender has not yet been legally and formally concluded, at this point, it is not possible to announce all details.
Start of negotiations between EPS and Edison, as well as start of the joint activities on the feasibility study, is planned for end June 2011, with the aim of harmonizing approaches regarding further project development.
